Getting to the Stadium:
Narita International Airport is 1hr 40mins by train and Haneda Airport only 50 minutes by train. The stadium is about ten minutes walk from JR Shin-Yokohama station and Kozukue station, on the JR Yokohama line.

Yokohama is Japan's second largest city, after Tokyo -- which is only half an hour away.

By Air

Yokohama -- Airport Connections:
JR Narita Express and the Airport Limousine Bus both take around 90 minutes from Narita to Yokohama Station. Haneda airport is nearer -- 30mins by bus.

By Rail

Yokohama by Train:
Yokohama is on the Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen Line, connecting Tokyo with Odawara, Nagoya and Osaka. JR trains to Tokyo also operate regularly.

By Road

Yokohama by Road:
The Metropolitan Expressway connects Yokohama with Tokyo and the Tomai Expressway with Kansai and Central Japan.

Yokohama Accommodation

Around Yokohama Station:
Medium-priced hotels within a few minutes walk from Yokohama Station.

Japanese Style Hotels:
Collection of Ryokans -- Japanese Inns -- around Yokohama.

Port Area:
Interestingly enough, the accommodation here is not amongst the cheapest in Yokohama at all.

Shin-Yokohama:
Hotel prices around the Shinkansen station are a little higher and tend to cater to the business traveller.
